Bell makes spare Chin Bars available for their 3R and 2R helmets. The reason is simple. They can come off the helmet and get lost. Its the price of the super-easy tool-free mounting system.

These are just as protective as the originals, though in terms of the Super 3R, since it can come without a chin bar, its a way to expand the versatility of the lid.

Theres one specific to the 3R and one for the 2R. In both cases, one size fits all the different sizes. Matching colors are available, though you can also go bold and get a contrasting color.
