The Deda Tribar Basebar is a fast, simple platform for your hands and extensions when youre building a bike to beat the clock and cheat the wind.

Think of it as a wing with horns. The carbon-fiber bar has been built in three phases. The first is the 31.7mm center section. Its 130mm wide, more than enough for your stem and extensions to clamp on. Then you have a wing that meets the 3:1 UCI ratio and is approved for ITU triathlons as well. It transitions from the wing to pointy hand rests where you rest your palms for starts, stands, and turns.

The bar comes in a single width, 42cm measured outside-to-outside. There is no drop. The reach is 145mm. In terms of mounting brake or brake/shift levers, you need to use the plug-in style; the bars internal diameter in front is 20mm. The weight for the unit is 210g.

Deda has outfitted the bar with full internal routing for electronic shifting for Campagnolo EPS and Shimano Di2.
